      How to send a fax broadcast

      To send a fax broadcast using the GoFax secure web portal, you will require the following: 

      1. An online account with GoFax (create an account here).
      2. Purchased GoFax send credits (check out pricing here).

      Note: please ensure that your account has enough credits available for the fax broadcast send.

      There are two ways to send a fax broadcast using the GoFax secure web portal:

      1. Sending a fax broadcast using an Address Book.
      2. Sending a fax broadcast using a CSV upload.

      Creating an Address Book

      When sending a fax broadcast, you have the option to create an Address Book of fax numbers for easy access. 

      1. Login to the GoFax secure web portal.
      2. From the dashboard, navigate to "My Settings" on the main left navigation and select "Manage Address Books" from the dropdown menu.
      3. Click on "Send Fax Service" under the "Address Books" dropdown menu. 
      4. Add a name for the new Address Book and click "Go!". The newly created Address Book will appear on the left.
      5. Click on your Address Book to add contacts to it. You can upload contacts via a CSV by selecting a file from your device and clicking "Upload File".

      Sending a fax broadcast using an Address Book

      1. From the dashboard, navigate to "Send Fax Service" on the main left navigation and select "Broadcast Fax (CSV Upload)".
      2. Fax document: Upload the fax document by selecting a file from your device.
      3. Address Book: Select the Address Book you wish to use to send your fax broadcast to.
      4. Block List Numbers CSV file: Upload a list of blocked fax numbers.
      5. Send Scheduling: Schedule the fax broadcast to be sent at a future date and time, if required. (Note: Broadcast can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance) 
      6. Send High Quality: Tick this box to send your fax broadcast in high quality (incurs additional charges).
      7. Use DNCR List Washing: Matches the fax numbers in your Address Book against the Do Not Call Register (DNCR).
      8. Click "Send Now" to send your fax broadcast.

      Note: ticking the DNCR List Washing is required by law when sending a fax marketing broadcast. If your fax broadcast is not for marketing purposes, this process is not required.

      Sending a fax broadcast using a CSV upload

      1. From the dashboard, navigate to "Send Fax Service" on the main left navigation and select "Broadcast Fax (CSV Upload)".
      2. Fax document: Upload the fax document by clicking Choose File and select a file from your device.
      3. Destination Numbers CSV file: Click Choose File and select a CSV of your recipient fax numbers.
      4. Block List Numbers CSV file: Upload a list of blocked fax numbers.
      5. Send Scheduling: Schedule the fax broadcast to be sent at a future date and time, if required. 
      6. Send High Quality: Tick this box to send your fax broadcast in high quality (incurs additional charges).
      7. Use DNCR List Washing:  Matches the fax numbers on your Address Book with the Do Not Call Register (DNCR). 
      8. Click "Send Now" to send your fax broadcast.

      Note: Ticking the DNCR List Washing is required by law when sending a fax marketing broadcast.
