Authorising an email domain for SMS sending (Wildcard)

* You can configure all email addresses within your business domain as an authorised sender. To do so, enter an asterisk (*), then the @ symbol and your domain name in the "Authorised Email Address:" field. For example, if you want everyone with a "yourdomain.com.au" email address to send SMS via your GoFax account, you would include *@yourdomain.com.au in the "Authorised Email Address:" field. This is otherwise known as a “wildcard domain.”

IMPORTANT: Adding a wildcard domain allows anyone whose email client’s “From:” settings include that domain to send via your service. Only set this if you are certain that everyone with access to that domain for email sending is authorised to send SMS via your account using GoFax. DO NOT use a public email domain.

** If the SMS receiver replies within 48 hours of your sending, the reply will be delivered to the email address you include in the Reply Forwarding Email Address field. The receiver will see your SMS as having come from a shared virtual number assigned by our system.

*** SMS forwarding applies a credit charge at the standard SMS rate per 160 characters or part thereof in the reply.
