SMS Sender ID Telco Partner application with GoLogic

All alphanumeric SMS Sender IDs must be registered with ACMA before the 1st July 2026.

Prepare now to avoid disruption to your customers.

As part of the new Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) requirements, Sender ID registration is now available through GoLogic, allowing partners that use alphanumeric Sender IDs for their customers' outbound SMS to register ahead of the July 1st 2026, compliance deadline.

If you haven't already registered with ACMA as a Participating Telco and advised GoLogic, we recommend reviewing your requirements as soon as possible.  

Mandatory registration requirement for Telcos with ACMA

If you are an EMSP and provide SMS sending services to your customers, using alphanumeric SMS Sender IDs, regardless of how you choose to participate in the Sender ID Register, all EMSPs must first register directly with ACMA to participate.

Partner with GoLogic

Once registered with ACMA, you can choose to partner with GoLogic. In this model, GoLogic will fulfil some of our partners’ obligations under this industry standard on its behalf. GoLogic will:

  • Provide the user interface within your existing branded Client Admin to support your end users in registration
  • GoLogic will perform checks to ensure alphanumeric IDs requested are verified and legitimate, or work with Partners to ensure these checks are carried out
  • Submit registrations to ACMA on your behalf, linking them to your ACMA Partner ID/Brand
  • Send messages using the APPROVED alphanumeric Sender ID for your customers on your behalf
  • Send messages using an UNREGISTERED alphanumeric SMS Sender ID for your customers, over-stamping the SMS Sender ID with ‘UNVERIFIED’.

To activate your SMS Sender ID Registration with GoLogic

Once registered with the ACMA. Proceed to submit a request to connect your ACMA Telco Partner account to GoLogic.

  1. Log in to your GoLogic Partner Admin Console.
  2. From the left menu, expand Customer Management.
  3. Click SMS Sender ID Applications.
  4. You will see a message: Your reseller account needs to be registered as a Telco Partner before you can manage SMS Sender ID applications.
  5. Click the Register as Telco Partner button.
  6. Proceed to complete the registration form. The Register as Telco Partner form has four sections. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory. 
  7. Submit the registration form. 
  8. GoLogic will complete the connection of your account to ACMA and notify you once SMS Sender ID registration is enabled.
