Sender ID Restricted Terms

Restricted Sender ID terms cannot be used on their own (singularly) as an alphanumeric Sender ID.

To protect recipients and comply with ACMA regulatory requirements, GoFax restricts certain Alphanumeric Sender ID terms. These terms cannot be used on their own (singularly) as an alphanumeric Sender ID.

Why are these terms restricted?

Restricted Sender ID terms are commonly associated with:

  • Impersonation of financial institutions, delivery providers, or system services

  • Misleading or high-pressure communications

What does “cannot be used singularly” mean?

A restricted term cannot be used by itself as your Sender ID.

  • GoFaxAlert
