Can I divert or redirect my existing fax number to a GoFax fax number?

Diverting (a.k.a. redirecting or call-forwarding) an existing fax number to a GoFax Fax Receive number service may be possible depending on your alternate fax number provider.

A fax redirection to a GoFax number, will allow you to commence receiving faxes online (via email, web portal, API or other methods we make available) as soon as the redirection is enabled.

If your existing fax number's hosting provider includes the option to redirect your number, they will have instructions on how to configure diversion to your GoFax fax receive number.

Your existing fax number's hosting provider may apply additional charges for call diversions/redirections/forwarding.

Whilst call forwarding may be available, we recommend avoiding this configuration where possible. Call forwarding may impact deliverability and, in some scenarios, increase the rate of incomplete faxes due to connections dropping out.
